Outpatient Programs
Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital offers outpatient programs to ages 18 and above for those individuals who require an intensive level of care but do not require the 24 hour monitoring of an inpatient facility. Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital provides partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs to assist with psychiatric and/or substance abuse needs.
We treat the following disorders:
- Depression
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Anxiety
- C-occurring Disorders
- Chemical Dependency
Program participants return to their home-setting for the evening, minimizing disruption to their daily routine while maintaining contact with family, friends and the community. Returning to their home-setting also facilitates learning by encouraging immediate practice of newly acquired communication and coping skills.
Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of board eligible / board certified psychiatrists, board certified internists and nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, addiction specialists, certified therapeutic recreation specialists, registered dieticians, and mental health technicians. The team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and works closely with the patient in formulating the treatment plan. The length of stay in each program depends on the individual’s treatment plan and completion of stated goals. One of the primary goals is to educate individuals and loved ones on how to manage their illness and reduce hospitalization.

Partial Hospitalization Program
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is offered 5-6 days a week. The program serves as a step-down from inpatient services but individuals do not need to transfer from an inpatient program in order to access services. Once the participant has achieved established treatment goals, then the individual transfers to the Intensive Outpatient Program.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is offered 2-4 days a week depending on individual needs. Individuals in IOP have achieved some stability but continue to need more intensive treatment.
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP)
The substance abuse program is offered 3 days a week. Outpatient substance abuse is for those individuals seeking long term recovery yet desire the flexibility of an outpatient program. The program provides a safe, structured and supportive environment for individuals to begin recovery. Treatment includes education on addiction, co-occurring disorders, coping skills, relationships and family dynamics, warning signs and relapse prevention.
Our outpatient facility is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Please feel free to call (225) 303-0212 and ask for intake.
