Mr. Gopalam is the founder and CEO for Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital.  He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University. After working in the software engineering industry for nearly ten years, he decided to establish a facility to provide treatment for those with mental illness.  His decision to transition into behavioral health resulted from seeing extended family members struggle with untreated mental illness and then regain stability and hope through proper medication and therapy. Watching this transformation led to his desire to establish a behavioral health hospital to help others.

He has served in the role of administrator and owner of behavioral healthcare facilities for nearly two decades.  Mr. Gopalam’s focus is on providing quality care through the recruitment and development of experienced and dedicated professionals.  He is also focused on a team approach to deliver an exceptional patient experience and ensure high patient satisfaction. He is a member of the Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) and the Behavioral Health Constituency Group of LHA.
